1975 Mercedes 450 SL Convertible 1975 Mercedes 450 SL Convertible. VERY beautiful and  everything is original. Just purchased a new top for her,  took the old one off (Which fell apart in my hands. That's what is all over the back seat.) Car does come with Brand New, Black, soft top (Uninstalled). What it needs: new weather stripping for the soft top, New metal frame for soft top (Not  necessary but is  good idea), idle adjusted up slightly (About 500), the transmission  shifts hard and our mechanic thinks it is a vacuum line, few knobs need replacing, some  cosmestic issues (Please see pictures). There are a few stickers on the glass windshield. Please feel free to contact for viewing and/or to have your mechanic take a look. Other than that, this car is in pristine condition and is a beautiful! Purrs  when you drive it and runs well. The engine is mechanically solid. The outside body  has only a few blemishes (By the trunk, see pictures). With very minor work, this car  will be in MINT Condition!  Don't pass this car up, you will not get another chance to purchase a beauty like her. You can get in a drive her away and with the low miles, she will last a very LONG time! Odometer reads correct. The very last picture of my finger and foam. Under the hood is not rust, but some sort  of old cloth that has fallen off and left residue. TITLE IS IN HAND AND FREE & CLEAR :) I have contact information for the replacement pieces if the buyer wishes to have them.
