This auction is for a classic car that is ALL ORIGINAL And unmolested, but also incomplete and missing a number of parts...an excellent candidate for an ambitious restoration. Actually, as can be seen in the pictures, all I have of the car right now is this interior grab-strap. It is taupe in color, and measures 9 3/4" long by 2" wide, not counting the handsomely styled and tastefully nickel-plated attaching plate. It is in decent condition...the side which faces into the car's interior is excellent, but there is what appears to be some moth damage on the inside surface, where it would not show once installed in the vehicle. The restorer who takes on this project - albeit a rather challenging one- and completes this car, undoubtedly will be rewarded not only with a well-deserved feeling of accomplishment, but financially as well, since conservatively speaking, the car could easily bring multi-hundreds of thousands of dollars at auction.
