1969 AMC AMX Factory 2 seater muscle car with Trans Am Racing History, not unlike the Boss Mustangs and Plymouth Cudas of their time, and look at their values. PDB, TILT wheel, Magnum wheels, and think it has the Go Package too Has factory in dash Tach and 140 speedo. Reserve realistic & Low UNDER $6k !! Factory 390 4 spd car with what I believe to be the original motor from carb to pan. Last owner had the engine rebuilt about 20 yrs ago but the car got parked soon after, so the motor barely has any miles on it. No smoke or strange noises and fun to drive (yes, even in this condition) Car was originally sold in Wisconsin which is where it aquired some rust BUT its really not half as bad as it looks, and we have plenty of pics to prove that. The car came to Tucson in the 80s where it was parked at around 73k miles. Since its spent the last 30+ yrs in Tucson, the rust never got any worse. Would be a realitively easy restoration compared to most cars. Drive around as is or restore it to its original glory, or somewhere in between. Some of the trim etc missing in the pix will be in the trunk. The car runs better then it looks. We are working on unplugging pick up in the tank this week as currently its running off a small gas container under the hood. What you will see in the pics below is: What looks to be a Diamond in the rough, is a real AMX Green metallic was the factory Color and pretty rare, with black interior. Ive been all over and Under the car, and have pics to below to prove our claims. Window regulators hard to roll up windows, pass side window is out, but in the trunk safely. Obviously this is not a restored car. Some wiring by the headlight switch was damaged, and we ran a hot wire to the switch so we can start it with the factory ignition. We really try to have realistic reserves on all of our auctions and want to sell cars, not sit on them for another year. LOTS OF PICS, it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient. This is a great car to restore 100% and would do so nicely. It is an example of a era long gone. Remember: they arent making anymore :) My take is this has been in Az its whole life. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain. Check out All the pics and then look for more info AFTER the pics etc. There are over 100, make sure you use the schroll bar on the side to see them all. If you treat yourself to buying one of our cars, youll never buy a rust bucket again from anyone !! Doing restoration on this type of project is less labor intensive which means overall cost is less too ! With less horrid surprises later on. We also have some 17x8 Daisy Style Retro style aftermarket Alloy rims that would look choice on this car. If the winner wants them they are available for an extra $400 !! They should just bolt on, but in some cars you will need about a 1" Billet Spacer installed with them for a better fit. THE BEST REPRESENTED AMX ON EBAY HANDS DOWN !!
