2/15/2011, More information I did not originally put here and help answer a lot of questions: Both sets of headlights were replaced with new because the clear, non fuzzy lenses make the car look good. I had the windshield replaced with the correct Ford "mustang" emblem Carlite windshield. This was an expensive piece of glass compared to the "generic" glass they usually put in. Why? Again, I like a clean looking machine and enjoy driving such. That kind of stuff bugs me. How the orig owner put so many miles on yet kept the car up is beyond me. The bottom of the front CS facia has a few scrapes from steep driveways (my Dad's). Really not noticeable in the pictures, but if you get on your hands and knees, you can see them. I just touched them up. Wanted anyone seriously looking to know. The best photos are those I took on 2/8 showing the car partly covered. That's because I garage it in winter and park it close to the side so I can get my trailer in. Don't use this garage in the winter anyway. The other side looks just as good. The summer photos were taken by my son or daughter cause they thought it was cool ( both of whom can't drive a stick :) before I decided to sell. My daughter named the car "Flame" and they got me the "Ford Racing" plate. She names all our cars! There is really no rust anywhere on the undercarriage. 2/8/2011: New Photos added I took today. Couldn't get good photos of passenger's side. Factory 18" polished rims, mint. Tires are the BF Goodrich which are newer and same as orig equipment. For sale is my 2007 Mustang GT California Special. There are no dings or dents. The car is mint and shines like new. Interior is extremely good with the factory floor mats that are unique to the California Special. The car shines like new! The car has never been in an accident and has been perfectly maintained. The car has been garaged and never been in snow or salt. The car is stock except for the cold air intake(minimum 22hp increase with the re-tune) and the shifter. Clutch/axle/engine/ brakes are excellent. Actually the front pads are original and have about 2/3 wear left which proves the car's mileage was mostly highway. The rear pads are new. I replaced the 2 piece Motorcraft spark plugs with the recommended Ford replacement Champions. Apparently the orig plugs could break if removed. I did this as a precautionary action. I am the second owner. Both the original owner and I are "mature" individuals. I am 55 and the orig owner was in his 40's. This car has a Steeda cold air intake and a Hurst short throw shifter. It shifts perfect and drives excellent. Uses no oil. No leaks. Tires have less than 8k miles and look new. New fuel filter, cleaned Steeda filter and recharged. I changed the trans and axle fluids with Mobil One Synthetics. The orig fluid that came out did not have one fleck of metal in it, and it was the original fluid. The rear axle ratio is 3.55:1. Very good mileage, but also a great gear. This car is ready to drive across the U.S. as you would a new car. The car also has new headlights, both fog and regular. I did this as the orig were a bit fuzzy. Last summer I bought an accelerometer and for fun did a 1/4 mile on a deserted blacktop. I did 3 1/4 mile runs and the best of the three was 13.46 sec at 105. 0-60 4.94 seconds. I was amazed. This car has never seen salt. I bought it last year in Houston from a GM dealer and found out the orig owner's name. He gave me the rundown and his last comment was "I miss that car". I am only selling because my wife will not drive a stick :( I can tell you is is a beauty. Feel free to contact me through Ebay messaging if you have any questions.
