Vehicle Detail

some of you might have seen this before, its a relisting, ive been waiting for 3 months for a previous buyer to complete the transaction and im afraid he has not, Id just like this to go to a good home, The car belonged to a buddy who bought it new back in 1979 for his wife, she passed away last spring, and so did he in October, i have clear title and paperwork, this was his wifes car, he bought it new in 1979 for 17,000 dollars, she recently passed away and too many memories, this is a true "grandma" car, The car is in excellent shape, the only flaws are as follows, there was a ding on the drivers door and repaired, (still primer) the cruise control isnt working, and the clock on the dash stopped working, everything else works and she runs great. The motor was rebuilt just over 50,000 miles ago, and IS the original motor, not a replacement, the Trans was also rebuilt at the same time. There is a picture of the odometer, it was not reset so thats probably total mileage on the car itself, like i said, the motor has alittle over 50,000 and is all highway limeage on eastern washington and oregon freeways,, the engine runs great, doesnt burn oil, or leak, gets 18-19 mpg and is very smooth. Sun roof opens, all the power windows work great, and this thing is loaded with all the bells and whistles Lincoln could put on them, Also the Wheels ARE aluminum with a small hubcap in the center. These are the FIRST American cars with Halogen headlights, and ALL WHEEL DISC Brakes!, the 9" Ford rear ends were therefor coveted for hotrods, mustangs and other conversions, Some people find a granada or other Ford 2 door and build a 2 door Versailles out of these, or find a fiftys Ford Hot rod, or even a prewar street rod and use these cars as a donor. Or, this car is so nice. restore as is. the Leather interior is in incredible shape, the paint is faded a bit, the kept it in a car port, but eastern washington has harsh sun, also theres a parking lot ding on the door that was repaired but he never had the body shop finish painting it, the issue i believe was matching the correct paint and it never got done \ Deposit due by paypal and is non refundable to prevent bidders who arent serious or overseas bidders who claim to ba docter or Oil investment banker who want to send me a suspect Money order for more than the item and i return the rest., I hope you get my drift, if i call them what they are the ebay police step in (WHY?) see the ebola monkey mans website for more info, the balance due in cash or arranged payment upon pickup of the car, Any wire transfers or cashiers checks MUST clear my bank FULLY before you can take posession so cash is best, SHipping is responsibility of buyer, thanks for looking, As for shipping there are MANY reputable car shippers, ebay provides resources for this as well so do your research, Ill work with your shippers or carriers but ultimately its up to you. I also want to add a few details, this car spent most of its life in Eastern Washington, that means warm dry air, no salt, No corrosion, very well preserved, however the paint finish IS a bit oxidized despite being kept most of the time in a covered car port, I have a NON Silicon paint restore product that would do wonders, and ill throw in a bottle free, its paint safe, no silicon and works well, NOT a wax, its a polyureathane cleaner polish, Ive used it for years on other vehicles with great results, Also the story on the mileage is that its just over 51,000 miles on the rebuilt motor and trans, the owner was very careful and its the original motor rebuilt, not a replacement core, the pictures shows the mileage on the odometer and is accurate for the rolling chassis, I think he might still have all the reciepts for service work, this was his wifes baby so any question it went into the shop.
