Two cars for the price of one! The Sprite is a 1967 model with the infamous 1275 engine I bought with the intent of restoring. Have had it for 3 years now and have gotten nowhere except for purchasing the proper seats for it. They will need to be redone and would really help to make the car right in black with white piping. Was originally Pale Primrose Yellow and would really look great in it’s original color with a new black top, wire wheels and the seats redone. Sprite shows approximately 98,902 miles. Transmission and clutch are good. The previous owner rebuilt the head and now the bottom end needs a rebuild. It is smoking. There is rust in the usual places. The tub is good. This is a real good candidate for restoration. Very low production numbers for the 1967. It is a very rare car. The other one is a MG Midget 1973? It has been stored in a garage for 20 years I was told it was running great when it was put away. This is the one with the round wheel arches. There are six wire wheels with it. I am not sure what year it is they only made it with the round wheel arches for a couple of years. My plan was to take the engine out of the Midget, put it in the Sprite. In short, take the best of the Midget and make a killer Sprite. No title with the Midget, it will transfer with a bill of sale. Now I just want both of them out of here.
