For Sale is my 1981 Jeep CJ-10a tug. I have owned it for 3 years. For those who dont know these were made in limited numbers (around 2000) for the military as aircraft tractors. They are equiped with the nissan sd33 v6 diesel ( same as in the old IH Scouts) 727 transmission mated to a NP205 transfer case locked in low, with a Dana 70 4:88 gears. I have my tugger locked in high so i can criuse it around. I have done alot to my CJ including, New: U joints, Belts, Hoses, Starter, Wires, Glow Plugs, Radiator, Air Filter, Optima Blue top, I had the injectors and Kiki injection pump rebuilt to factory specs, As for the vegetable oil conversion, it consist of a single tank set up heated lines with a Racor 500 water seperator/filter, and Raptor 100 fuel pump feeding the factory filter. This old jeep starts right up every time and runs better than stock with the fuel system improvements, it drives smooth at 55 mph all day. The only problems with it is the transmission has started to leak out the front seal, and the rear brake lines are rusted( front work fine) one of the junk tires i have on it has started to throw the treed. It does run and drive good still shifts threw all 3 gears fine, idles for ever, all lights and work most of the gauges... My plan was to build it into a rock/ trail rig but this is as far as i have got, i need liquidate to finish some other projects. I do not have a title and can not even find a VIN # on it any where.
