1965 TEMPEST THIS IS A VERY ORIGINAL TEMPEST POST THAT WILL MAKE A GREAT GTO CLONE! This is a former driver that originally had a 326 v8 automatic engine. No engine or transmission is currently installed or included. Why bother with a 400 or 455 would be far better. Relatively straight and rust free body, doors and under carriage. This is a California black plate tag car. I have most parts to convert to a 4 speed manual including metal plate for floor board, pedals,clutch shaft/bellcrank, bellhousing and flywheel. Interior is original and features bench seat, decent headliner and door panels. Great little project that I am giving up due to recent 1971 trans am I recently purchased. The front and rear windows and stainelss trim are in great shape. The side windows roll up and down easily and the doors and trunk close very solid. The rear tail panel is also very nice and realtively free of pits. Also included in the sale is a Dynacorn GTO hood and original gto/lemans grills as well as lower stainlss side trim for both sides.
