up for auction is my 1967 mercury cougar xr7. I had this car running last summer but now when its cold it wont start because the choke on the carb is not working properly. It has a 289 with a 2bbl carb and i was told about 100,000 miles on this motor, like i said the carb does need some work though with the choke. all the body is solid, except the passenger side door needs hinges and has rust on the bottom pretty bad the drivers side is not so bad. The passenger side has new floor pans in already, the drivers side needs done i have the pans for it just need to be done and the sale does include that. The interior is in pretty good shape nice headliner needs new dash pad. The drivers seat is good the passenger has some tears and the back is good except on the top there is a hole. I have seat covers to match for the front i believe there in the trunk. The trunk does need new pan or some patch work. This car came from Germany off a military base and my father inlaw got it about 15 years ago and it sat so i got it out and worked on getting it running but now have other interest. Also this car has never been titled in the usa so buyer will have to apply for a title, i will write a bill of sale and u should be all set.
