For sale is a 1990 Ford F150, XLT Lariet package. It has been my daily driver for the last few weeks going from school/work/home all short distances. It handles well on the interstate. The brakes are surprisingly nice and tight for a vehicle of this age. The check engine light comes on after about 20 min. of driving as the engine gets hot and the thermostat needs to be changed (this is what i was told by a local mechanic). The ABS light is on but this is a common error with 90's model ford vehicles and I have seen no substantial issue with this light. The engine makes a ticking noise when you first start it up but it eventually goes away after a while. Transmission goes through all of the gears fine and seems to be working well (according to the maintenance records the tranny was rebuilt in '04 for ~$1800). This truck still has lots to offer if it is taken care of and maintained properly. Interior: Good-Excellent condition. This is listed as such as the interior is surprisingly functional for a vehicle that is 21 years old. No rips/tears in the seat. Carpet is mostly stain-free. 90% of the buttons in the truck work A/C blows cold Heat defrosts and works well Has a single disc, aftermarket CD player Wipers work Headlights work, can be driven at night safely Both windows, driver and passenger, are electric and roll up and down without error power locks, unlocks both doors w/ no issues. All of the gauges work. Exterior: The panels are all straight. The paint is faded and scratched as it is the original paint on the pickup. The truck doesn't smoke. The wheels are factory and the tires are old but still have lots of tread remaining. I'm unsure how many previous owners that this vehicle has had but I am approximating that I am the 4th. I bought this truck about a month ago b/c i wanted a work truck/something reliable to drive in bad weather but I now have to sell it as the neighborhood association I'm in doesn't like it being parked in the street so i'm being asked to sell it. The mileage is unknown and the odometer works and shows a little over 10000 so this truck most likely has 110000 miles or 210000 miles. For the right person the minor issues with this truck should be able to be fixed quickly and easily and you'll be left with a truck that will take you anywhere.
