Overview/History -- Car for auction is a 1999 BMW 540iT sport wagon in Titanium Silver with black leather interior. Car has a CLEAR title with no accident history. Car is in great running condition. I purchased the car in June 2009 from a used luxury car dealer in Norwalk, CA with about 114k miles. It has been my weekend leisure car and always garage-kept. Please feel free to ask questions. Exterior condition -- The exterior paint is about 6/10, mainly due some visible scratches, key marks, smear marks and chips. Most of the them were there when I bought the car. Most of paint damage are on the hood. It appears to me that the paint is still original, and the car has not been repainted in anyway. I tried to capture all the paint damage in pictures below. There are NO aftermarket mods. Please see below for my description. Rice-size stone chip on driver-side front fender. Front bumper appears to have been removed and not properly reinstalled, thus leaving a gap on passenger-side. Two scratches on driver-side hood, one 1.5in long, one 0.5in long. Deep 4in long key mark on hood close to windshield. 0.5in scratch mark on passenger-side hood. Smear and scratch mark on driver-side rear fender, each about 1in long. 1in long scratch mark next to driver-side taillight. 1.5in long scratch mark on driver-side rear fender close to window. A dent on passenger-side rear door. Some scratch marks on passenger-side rear door. A 0.5in long scratch mark on hatch door. A screw-head size chip on rear bumper. Interior condition -- The interior is a 8/10. Most of the leather is in great condition. The driver seat leather is wearing out but is still acceptable. All electronics are functional. There are NO aftermarket mods. Mechanical condition/Maintenance -- Car is in great running condition. The engine is strong and healthy. Please find in the pictures my most recent engine oil analysis from Blackstone Labs. Air conditioner and heater are both working. All tires have about 5/32-inch thread left. There are NO aftermarket mods. If you buy the car, I do suggest you refresh some of the suspension components, such as struts and bushings, as most are original. All maintenance has been performed by me. I have owned bimmers before and am quite skilled at wrenching. Please see my maintenance log below for details. On Jun 14, 2009, at 114000 mile, the following are done a. Replaced both front brake discs. On Mar 14, 2010, at 117081 miles, the following are done a. changed brake fluid to ate blue. b. changed cabin filters c. changed oil to amsoil xl 5w30. also replaced engine oil drain nut. d. changed valve-cover gaskets. e. powdercoated valve-covers to wrinkle black f. replaced spark-plugs with denso k20det g. replaced alternator (remanufactured unit) h. replaced coolant (bmw blue) i. replaced air filter j. fixed oil-filter housing mounts k. replaced transmission fluid with amsoil synthetic atf. also replaced the drain nut and all 22 torx screws. l. replaced differential fluid with amsoil 75w90. also replaced the drain nut. On Mar 20, 2010, at 117250 miles, the following are done a. replaced adjusters in the headlights On Jul 31, 2010, at 121100 miles, the following are done a. changed engine oil with amsoil xl 5w30. On Nov 16, 2010, at 124733 miles, the following are done a. changed engine oil with amsoil xl 5w30. Features -- I do not have the original sticker, so I do not have a detailed list of its options. I was told by the dealer it was fully-loaded without navigation. Some of the significant features are listed below.
