Vehicle Detail
This is a spectacular 328 that has been in my family since 2000. I have documentation on this car since it was new. The car is in fantastic clean condition a you would expect from a sportscar with long-term multi-Ferrari enthusiast ownership. The car comes equipped with all 328 accessories including all books, tools, the targa cover, jack kit, fuse holder and targa cover. All finishes including the paint and the leather are original. Late 1989 328's are the "best of the breed" with suspension updates and ABS brakes, and their build quality is the best (for Ferrari). With detailing, I believe the car could compete for national Platinum and Preservation awards. The car has always enjoyed indoor climate-controlled storage and has not seen inclement weather. The only spots of wear on the car are the driver's bolster and the carpet on the door panels. It is well known that the door carpets fade for unclear reasons. The original floor carpets are perfect and have been protected by mats. The seats have always been covered as well. The car is due for a belt service, at which time the engine could be steam cleaned for concours preparation, if the new owner desired it to be so. The A/C compressor switches on but the system needs a recharge. All other switches and lights work as they should and the car has never been smoked in by any owner. I have rechromed most of the bolts at Bob Smith's Ferrari chrome facility in Texas, but there are two bolts per wheel on the right side which should be rechromed. Look at other 328's before seeing my car. After looking at a number of 22+ year old Ferraris, it is easy to tell which small fraction of cars will be valued in the future. This car's high (>80000) serial number, low miles, documented chain of ownership and mileage, and preserved original authentic condition give it the potential to be the "best of the best." I am only letting her go because I moved to a fiberglass 308 at the Arizona auctions. Inspections, drives, and PPI can be arranged at a mutually convenient time. The car is in in St. Petersburg, Florida. Please feel free to email me with questions: deichenb@yahoo.com.
