Vehicle Detail

1972 Monte Carlo This is my customized 1972 Monte Carlo SS468. It is a rebuilt 454ci Big Block V8 (now a 468ci with less than 3000 miles since rebuild). The car was modified to look like a powerful street machine. Car was originally a 350ci/4BBL. It has been garage kept and only driven to car shows and cruise nights. Bored .060 over to 468ci. Competition Cams Hydraulic Roller Cam Kit #K11-422-8 was installed (Cam, new timing gear, heavy duty valve springs & push rods.) New Scat Crank & Clevite Bearings. Intake manifold is Edelbrock Aluminum Dual Plane Performer 2. Edelbrock Performer 800CFM carb. Hedman shorty street headers. Edelbrock fuel line w/inline filter Summit Racing fuel pressure gauge Stainless Steel braided hose lines Dual Flowmaster exhaust system Bucket seat conversion (2-tone black/grey) B&M Mega Shifter w/shift kit THM 400 transmission Strong 10 bolt posi rearend w/3:73 gears The front are new BFG Radial T/As (P23570R15) on stock SS rally wheels The rears are new BFG g-Force ET Street Drag tires (P275/60R15) on new 15x8.5 Centerline Auto Drags RetroSound AMFM radio w/6x9 SonyXplode rear speakers Original GM Build sheet Large SunPro Tachometer w/shift light. Triple gauge panel (Oil Pressure-60psi at idle !!, Water, Ammeter). Bazooka NOS8 sub in trunk with Rockford-Fosgate amp. Double shot NOS setup underhood and Jacobs Nitrous mastermind controller AC delete box installed last year Sparco steering w/SS center cap, Custom SS454 floor mats Extra set of 2 new front tires included The stock paint was light green and the car was repainted Black Pearl Metallic about 10 years ago. All Nitrous system parts are just for show and non-functional. This car is not a show car but it definitely gets a lot of attention. It really needs a new professional paint job and some minor touchups where the paint is peeling or bubbling (see last 3 pics). Car has minimal rust, solid floor pans and a lot of potential. Speedometer quit working a few months ago and the horn doesn’t work. Runs good and sounds real good. Clear title in hand. It is time for someone else to enjoy this powerful machine. $500 deposit via PayPal due within 48 hours.
