I also have a clear title in hand with tons of documents of the full restoration of this Beautiful Fully Restored 1979 Trans am. My name is James Smith , I live in Billings Montana. The car is in storage right now and has not seen snow, rain, hail .. basicly any cruddy days since its restoration. Here is a little info about this Georgous 79 trans am. This car was totally tore apart and redone. This Trans am was completely restored when i bought it this past June of 2010. The Older gentelman in the video is the person who spent three years restoring this Brand NEW trans am. The only thing i did to it after i bought it was add louvers and Tint. Well I had engine gone through when I got it back to Montana to make sure everything was tight. The last three pictures are of the car after i bought it. You can see that what I did to it after I bought it. The other pictures are of the car the day i bought it. Like i said , I had to do nothing to this car other than some cosmetic additions. This car comes with a sub wolfer .. CD deck,Rockford Fosgate Speaker in the Dash. 6x9's in the back. Also has Hands free cellphone hooked up. THIS HAS NO RUST AND WILL NEVER RUST ! Ok here is the history of the car. This car was sold in California in 1979.. Years later it ended up in Virginia where it sat behind the owners house from 1992-2005 where the last owner picked it up and spent the next three years restoring it. I bought the car from the last owner who lived in Main and had it transported to Billings,MT. I personally have only driven it about 14 times locally and one round trip to Bozeman montana round trip 500 miles. I have TONS of pictures of the restoration that the old owner gave me when i bought the car. I would be happy to email them if asked. Below are details about the car. I hope i cover everything.. if u have any question please feel free to call me ANYTIME 406-850-2254 James. Paint: The color is a Pearl Bronze. The color changes depending which direction the light hits it. There are two very small blemeshis in the paint from when it was buffed. Hardly even noticable. Custom work: The Pheonix on the hood is hand painted. NOT A DECAL... look at the detail. Also the bird on the gas tank cover is hand painted. All other words and small birds are from a kit. ALSO added which u NEVER see on these cars are Spoilers BEHIND the wheels. Makes the car look even more sportyer. Body: There was one spot on the car that the metal had to be replaced. It was on the drivers side front fender on the lower side. It was very small and i even have it. I asked if i could have it and lol he still had it. Other than that this car has NEVER been in a accident. The color was originally Yellow. The entire body was sprayed with Rust enolium before paint was applied.. so it will NEVER rust. Every piece of metal is covered with it. The floor panels and trunk never needed to be replaced, but was sprayed with rust enolium as well to ensure the life of the car. The Hood springs and latch .. truck latch was sprayed with a protectant as well so it wont rust. All NEW front end. everything was replaced. Interior: All new carpet.. seats.. Dash.. headliner... basicly ALL NEW in the inside. See the picture..absolutely gorgeous!! Wheels: CUSTOM FOOSE rims. 15x8 on the back 15x7 on the front. Tires have about 5500 miles on them. 3k investment alone. Also Air shocks were also added on the back. Power: Power Antana,Windows,Trunk,Brakes, Locks.. the drivers side lock works sometimes. ALL wireing has been replaced through out the car. Other: This car has A/C , Power Steering, Posi Track. Disk Brakes on the front. Drum on the back. All instrements on the dash work. Ws6 package. Duel exhaust w/rechromed TA tips. No rear defrost. Front and back windshield have been replaced. Engine: Matching numbers..403 olds 350 automatic transmission. The engine is STRONG. below will be alist of what was done to it. Both the engine and Trany was rebuilt. I know for a fact when i got it there was about 3000k miles on the rebuilt. I have put about 2500k miles on it myelf. SO on the rebuilt engine and trany there is about 5,500 miles on it. Alumium radiator was added. ALSO this Trans am actually has a WORKING shaker.. it looks cool when sitting in the drivers seat and seeing it work when driving it or rev'n it up.
