I have decided to clean out quite a few machines and I am down to my favorite. This was actually my wife's rider, needless to say it didn’t get used much. I took it on the last few trail rides and was quite impressed. It is much more stable than any other model of three wheeler I have ever ridden. It is also very dependable and I have never had one issue out of it. Everything works like it should. If you are unfamiliar with the 87 200x, I will give you a bit of history. 1987 was the last year of ATC's in the U.S. All 1987 ATC's were made in very low production numbers, but the 200x was the lowest at 3,538. Compare this to the 85 200x at 47,339 and you can tell this machine is rare and desirable in the three wheeler community. The 87 200x improved over the 86 with keyed ignition, increased kick shaft size, all white plastics, 3rd gear ratio changed and much more. This 200x was purchased from Stubbs Cycles as new back in 87. I am the third owner but I do not think it has seen much use or abuse over the years. It always runs great, never fails and is always a blast. As far as I know everything is original on this bike except for the tires. The front tire has been replaced with an OEM replacement. All the plastics are original and overall in good shape with a few imperfections. The fork boots will need to be replaced, one broke. There is also some paint missing off the motor. This thing was used as a rider, but wouldn’t take much to be perfect. It is really a beautiful machine and has been the pride of my garage for sometime.
