Vehicle Detail
This is a 1986 Toyota Pickup SR5 Xtra Cab 4x4. Got it on trade for another truck I owned. Paint is five years old and in good shape except on front fenders and rear wheel wells. Front fenders both have a rust hole in them and rear wheel wells have a little rust forming. Wheel wells have aftermarket flares on them. Cab has a color matched sun visor on it in great shape. Rear exterior bed light works well. Has chrome roll bars in bed with some surface rust starting. Bed I was told is from a newer Toyota Truck so it is a little wider than cab. It is solid and has a Line-x bedliner in it. Also has locking fuel door which I have keys for. Rear slider is tinted as well as Xtra cab side windows. There is a 2" towing reciever with a 4 flat plug for trailers. Interior is in pretty good shape and it has bucket seats with the center console. Center console has 2 flip open compartments. The dash has a crack in it, but that is about the only bad on interior. The Xtra Cab has a shelf in it with 2- 6"x9" speakers in boxes on top of it and toyota tools and jack below it. Stereo is a newer Pioneer detachable face plate cassette deck. Sounds good and is loud. There is an aftermarket Lanmar parking brake switch installed inside but I don't think it is hooked up. Stock parking brake cable is broke like all toyotas but I have a like new spare if you want to fix it. I also have a spare fuel sending unit, ashtray, NEW pass. brake caliper and pads and dash piece as well as Toyota aluminum rims in good shape to go with it. Has a brand new 31" spare tire in rim. Tires are like new BFGoodrich 33" x 12.5" all terrain tires with tons of tread ( over 1/2" ). Have reciept for tires and they were $1,100 alone. Has 15" steel rims with a black center and chrome outer. Manual aftermarket locking hubs. Truck has a Spring Over Axle (SOA) lift and raises truck 3"-4". Has independent front suspension (IFS) and leaf spring rear. Frame has rust through in the rear by tires which can be fixed. Has double tube chrome rear bumper. Black fiberglass running boards. Missing passenger side bumper end cap. They are $7 if you go to www.Certifit.com . Has the 22RE fuel injected 4 banger which runs good and starts below zero. Has 114k miles and are original...shifts good and 4x4 is AWESOME. All gauges and lights work. The key has to be turned for 5 seconds before clutch is pushed in to prime the fuel rail and it fires right up. Toyotas fuel pumps only work when the ignition is turned so it has to be done this way because the fuel will make its way back to the tank from fuel rail after sitting a while... another common problem for these years, but it is remedied by what I said and toyota mechanic told me to do this and that it isn't worth the money to correct. I drive this truck 100 miles a day and have no problems with it. I have hauled trailers great with it and moved from my old house and hauled wood at my new house with it. I drove through the blizzard we just had with no problems and pulled several neighbors out with it. I love these trucks but need something for a family. My fiance has 2 kids and I have one. I am more than willing to exchange for a 4runner, or blazer, tahoe, jeep cherokee, SUV, etc, etc.... Ask any questions and leave your email if you want special pics of anything. Thanks for looking. JoeOn Feb-03-11 at 07:12:09 PST, seller added the following information: I forgot to add that it has a police spotlight on it which is not hooked but told it works and needs a new bulb. Has a professional installation, not a hack job. I was gonna put a plow on this truck and keep it but it is just too nice to plow with.On Feb-06-11 at 03:12:55 PST, seller added the following information: RESERVE HAS BEEN MET!!!!! BID TO WIN NOW!!!! Passenger rear tail light lens was broke outside Walmart today somehow and I will try my best to replace it before auctions' end. If it is not repaired by then I will subtract $15 from total purchase price for winning bidder to get a new one. Looks like some childish vandalism because just the lens is broke and nothing else is and there are no dents or scratches ( the tailgate was down so I know no cars hit it ) Sorry for this. I was told I need to add this disclaimer to be safe on here: Any vehicle inspection needs to be completed prior to auction end. Vehicle is sold "as is" and "where is". No warranty expressed or implied. Local pickup only. Entering a bid is a legal binding contract, so if you don't have the money DO NOT bid! Non refundable deposit of $500 due within 24 hours of auction close and remainder of balance to be paid in person within 7 days of auction end.
