Up for auction is one beautiful mustang convertible. I bought this car for my wife for mothers day, she has decided that she wants a 53-56 F-100 to rat-rod, so this has to go to fund her project. Vehicle was purchased from previous owner who owned it since it was just over a year old. He was an older gentleman who never abused it, and it shows. FLORIDA CAR. This mustang has all the original panels, and never been in an accident. The paint is all original and shines beautifully on sides, but horizontals show fading of the clearcoat. As a 20 y/o car it will have chips and such. The pony rims are in good shape and the tires are new. The top works as new, does not leak but is starting to look dry, taunau is in great shape. The motor and trans (auto) run like new. The interior is grey (GT style) and in beautiful shape with no rips or tears. Even the ash tray door works (can u believe that?) Dash is all original and never apart no cracks ect, original radio is present as well. A/C is converted to 134A and is cold. Passenger window works fine, drivers is slooooooow. I have been watching e-bay for another car with this color combo but have never seen one, hundreds of reds, whites and blacks, but not a blue/blue on grey. How many were made with this combo? I do not know but you will be hard pressed to remember when you have seen one. Don't get me wrong, I'm not professing this to be an ultra-rare one of 5 known in existence, but it is uncommon. As with any 20 year old car, you will find things that you will want to look better, so expect the car to look like the pics (not perfect). I take it to shows as it is. If you are looking for an unmolested 5.0 that has original exhaust (great shape), original gears, original air filter box, unmolested engine and interior, this is the car you have been looking for. This mustang is ALL ORIGINAL and tight. Never hot rodded, but I wont lie, I have gotten on it now and then, lol. Feel free to ask any questions, I will be happy to answer them. The paint is all original to the car and the clear coat on the trunk and hood is hazy. If you want a show car, I would paint the car. The top has never leaked but the florida sun is drying it out and as with all 20 y/o convertible tops it will need to be replaced down the road. Hope this answers your question.
