Selling a 2003 Jaguar XKR supercharged V-8 coupe with 85,150 miles. It is Jaguar's top sports car, but with a luxurious interior. 6 speed automatic transmission and Brembo brakes. Exterior color is Jaguar Racing Green Metallic, and Interior color is Tan (see photos). It has all options offered by Jaguar on the XKR at that time. No front license has ever been mounted and the front end is in good condition. While the "R" in XKR stands for Racing, in reality it means really great accelleration when desired (0-60 in 5.2 sec advertised by Jaguar), as the car's suspension is set up for firm, comfortable driving on the highway and around town, but with precise handling and great braking (and great sound when the supercharger is used). This car has only 2 owners and has been kept up immaculately in Southern California. With the bad economy, a sportscar is an expense we don't need. So we are selling this car with no reserve. Bauer Jaguar in Newport has handled all the maintence and this car is worth every penny Car has always been serviced only by the local Jaguar dealer, here in Newport Beach. It has never had any real repair or parts replacement necessary - just routine maintenance per the Jaguar manual and a brake pad job while in San Diego. I took the car to the dealer the day after picking it up in September, for a general check and "just to be sure" oil change, and they reported the brake pads still have a lot of life left in them. Condition of car: Interior looks in great condition, no rips or tears. Exterior has the normal rock chips on front end of bonnet - see closeup photo of front end. Both exterior rear view mirrors have a few similar rock chips on their side facing the front of the car. The Jaguar Racing Green metallic paint is stunning - a lighter green than British Racing Green. I was always getting compliments on how great the car looks. It is definately more comfortable on the highway and around town, and a lot quieter, so the special Alpine sound system can be enjoyed.
