Up for auction is my 1969 Chevelle Malibu, I don't know alot about the car except that it did come with a stick shift on the floor. I believe the original interior color was tan and the car was white but I am not sure. It is a rolling chassis with no engine, transmission or driveshaft. The frame and understructure of the body are in great condition with nothing more than surface rust in a few select areas. The floor pans and trunk floor are in excellent condition but the front right fender and both rear quarters are kinda rough. The front right fender has no rust but it looks like something fell on top of the portion right above the headlight. There is a bad dent and a rip in the metal both in this area. The rear quarters don't look to have any rust but it looks like there is a lot of bondo and dents back there. The doors are both in decent shape and the hood is in very good shape as well, but the trunk has a big dent in it right above the lock. Now the "bad stuff", somone cut a hole to install a sunroof and they took a sawzall to the rear firewall, they didn't actually remove any pieces from the firewall, they just cut it in a few places. The firewall damage should be visible in the pictures. Somone also took a sawzall and a hammer to the shifter hump (this piece can be bought aftermarket fairly cheap). I saved this car from its previous owner but I have no time to restore it, so it's time to go. Now for the rest of the stuff, I have alot that comes with this car and it is all in the pictures for this auction. It would take me a novel to go over each piece so I will just hit on some things, if you would like more info on a certain part just ask. It comes with a complete steering coulum but no keys, it has all the glass except the windshield and all looks really good. I think all the window regulators and tracks are there but I can't guarentee it. There are two metal backed bucket seats that need to be redone. There is a door seal kit that I think does both doors and a new cowl seal. There is an extra coil spring set that the guy I bought it from said are for a big block car but I don't know for sure. A few pieces of the trim have been kinked but the rest look really nice. I have a set of 5 rally centercaps that are in real good condition too. There are alot of odds and ends so like I said just send me a message and if you'd like it can be arranged to come see what's here in person. On Jan-31-11 at 15:37:40 PST, seller added the following information: I looked over my description and realized that I left out one very crucial detail so I am adding this to the description so that everyone knows. Above the trunk in the upper right hand corner and upper left hand corner there are two rust holes. I believe they are caused by the original vinyl top that came to a point in this area, I believe there are repair panels for this specific rust. They are visible in one of the pictures but I did not mention them in the description. If you would like pictures of the holes please send me you email address and I will forward them to you.
