You are bidding on a 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24, 2.4 liter 4-Cylinder engine with automatic transmission. The car is currently located in Bristol, Rhode Island. This vehicle is being sold AS IS. The exterior of the vehicle is in good condition with only one noticeable rust spot behind the passenger door. The paint is faded and worn in some areas. The car has recently (within the past week) had difficulty starting. It is not battery related and the engine turns over but fails to start. I believe this issue is at least partly contributed by the recent cold weather. I have used dry gas which appeared to have little effect. I have owned and operated this car for 4 years. Over this time, I have put a lot of money into maintenance and repairs for this car, especially recently. I have most of my receipts, as well as the maintenance receipts of the previous owner. parts and services include: #4 ignition coil and cap assembly 4/25/07 Radiator 8/29/07 water pump (sometime in 2008; do not have this receipt) Battery 3/07/09 front brakes rotors and pads, rear brake cleaning 05/26/09 fuel pump and fuel filter, flush and cleaning (do not have this receipt on hand, but can obtain proof if necessary; summer 2010) exhaust pipe 10/25/10 4 new goodyear tires balance and alignment 11/18/10 oil & filter change, state inspection, horn, fog lights 12/30/10 spark plugs, ignition coil boot kit, coil pack housing 1/5/11 As can be seen by my list, the car has new tires that are just over 2 months old and have received minimal wear. The car passed VT state inspection less than 1 month ago, and since then has received a tune up with new spark plugs. prior to the recent ailment which I have not had diagnosed, the car has run beautifully and started without problem every time.
