This GL1000 is a rare find. They made limited quantities of the LTD in 1976 and marked them as their Bicentennial Edition. Some say there were only around 2000 shipped to the US. Any Gold Wing fan knows that this bike is a real collectors piece. I use this motorcycle everyday- it runs great. It has 45,500 miles. The tires are new- they have 500 miles on them. A lot of work has been put into this bike- new timing belts, water pump, fuel pump, new fluids throughout, ect. This motorcycle is not showroom quality. There are a lot of little cosmetic details that need attention. A few things that are not original: seat, the paint color, and the tachometer (possibly more but those are the big ones). Needless to say, this bike is a great opportunity to get your hands on a piece of Honda history. Also included with the motorcycle is a matching Vetter Windjammer V, an adjustable sissy bar/luggage rack, and highway bars. The 7volt generator is not working. Regardless the motorcycle is 100% functional- and it runs great! A prefect winter project! The GL is garaged in Southern Utah (Parowan). You will be responsible for pickup/delivery. UPDATE: I picked up the bike after a few tune ups were made. A new gasket was installed on the front cover. The gasket was a little thin and now the shift linkage is binding which causes the motorcycle to skip third gear. I wanted all those who are interested to know immediately. The bike still runs great but jumps third gear and goes to fourth. The motorcycle has been garaged for 3 months now. The battery is getting weak.
