up for sale is my 1971 jaguar xj6 2.8 manual with overdrive,right hand drive,it has new tyres ,(less than a 1000 miles) a full webasto type sunroof,adjustable gas shocks all round,redone steering and suspension bushings,the car runs and drives beautifully,the seats are original and have no tears or splits,all the gauges work, as do all the electrics,it has lumenition instead of points, and a manual choke conversion, all of which makes it easy to start even on a cold day,it has the tool kit and jack too.good oil pressure,no overheating problems and a good charging system.no exhaust leaks,it has the real pulse fuel pumps,(the left one sometimes needs a tap to get it running if the car has been sitting).stock medium wave/ long wave radio,still works not many channels now though,i imported the car from britain about 5 years ago,and have known the car since 1980,it was previously owned by 2 of my friends,it has never been in a wreck,it has a bit of rust in the rear rollpan(i have a replacement one just never installed it) also some in the front valance,below the bumper,and a spot on the front fender by the headlight,the car is very original an has had no restoration, just regular maintenance,this is a rare car as this manual trans model was never available in the usa,i have it insured with hagerty and they valued it at $8500.this is the short wheelbase model, so it is truly a drivers car.thanks for looking, feel free to ask any questions, john
