This 300 SEL is a garage kept Florida snowbird car that has 47k original miles and came right from one of our premier retirement villages here in Ft. Myers. This car is BRAND new on the inside with a full "10" rating and the exterior gets a full"9.5" as well! This is one you need to see in person to appreciate how clean and well kept it is. You truly feel like your in a new 1989 Mercedes! As always I have done an Autocheck report and everything came up great, no accidents or problems and no issues. It was registerd up in MA till 2007 then in FL. It was a car they kept here in Florida most of the year at their retirement home and that is how the miles have been kept low. The factory books show lot's of services were performed and recently it received a new exhaust system, (the original lasted 20 years here in Florida), a new waterpump, belts and hoses and I just has a Mercedes mechanic look it over and it is in great shape. I drove it home the other day and not one drop on my driveway! What a beautiful car in person as well as the pictures. The interior is BRAND new, there is not a spot on anything. There is no fade, cracks or missing or broken plastic pieces and it is a non-smokers car so it still smells nice and fresh inside. The dash has no cracks and even the wood trim around the shifter and dash still looks new with no cracks, very rare. The leather seats look new both front and rear and even the package tray behind the rear seat shows no fade or wear and the medical kit it still there! All the power options work great including the air conditioning and power sunroof. I checked everything and it all works like new. The carpets and door panels too look new and even the factory original floormats are spotless. The exterior too looks wonderful as well with no dents, scrapes or fade and NO rust. I see no sign of rust anywhere and even the underside is still nice and clean. The glass, chrome and trim is in excellent condition as are the wheels with no corrosion. The tires are matching Michelin's with plenty of tread remaining to help this 300 SEL ride and handle Mercedes tight. Look close at the pictures and I promise it looks even better in person. What a pleasure to drive. The peppy 6cyl engine runs smooth as new and should with these great services and only 47k miles. I like these engines better then the V-8's as they are far less troublesome and get much better gas mileage. The brakes are smooth and the suspension and transmission are both just as a well cared for, low mile Mercedes should be with no shakes or rattles. I have driven a lot of these cars over the years so I know them well and this one drives as nice as new, it's that nice to drive. I know I am talking this one up but it's rare to find a car this age that is in this shape and with only 47k miles. You feel like you went back in time and got to buy the car you always wanted, You will NOT be disappointed. I have the factory books and a whole hand full of extra keys. According to Florida law, if an out of state purchaser takes delivery of a vehicle in the state of Florida I am obligated as a licensed dealer to collect sales tax at a rate equal to the purchasers state sales tax and not to exceed 6%. The purchaser will then be given a notarized reciept proving tax paid to present to their tax collectors office for sales tax credit and will NOT be charged twice. Any additional fees or taxes will be the responsibility of the purchaser. This does not apply to vehicles shipped out of state, only ones picked up in Florida. There is NO sales tax collected for out of the country purchases. Buyer assumes the cost of shipping.
