Vehicle Detail
Engine is the V8, 383 cubic inches. Only 89,000 miles - yes its true. Delaware title states "Actual Vehicle Mileage". There were only 2169 of these cars made. This car runs and drives and has Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Top and Automatic transmission. New radiator, hoses, plug wires, battery and recent oil change. 2-barrell carb, drum brakes all around. Radio is missing and gas guage doesn't work. Power top works great, but the top itself is tattered and is starting to rip at the seams and the plastic rear window is only attached by the zipper on the top (zippered window still does a decent job of blocking out the wind - note that the attached photo shows what it looked like before I zippered it in). The car needs carpet and floor pans, but I bought the metal sheets and they are in the trunk (I haven't had the time to install them). Car has some rust & rot, most notably in the rear quarters and in the rear section of the rockers, but the car still looks great (a 20 footer). Right front wheel well is in the trunk. Not currently tagged, but should pass Delaware inspection. If you have any questions, please ask. Bid with confidence! I have a 100% positive feedback rating with over 160 successful ebay transactions over the past 10+ years. Now for the legal jargon: As with any used car, this car is sold "as-is" and "where-is" with no warranties or guarantees stated or implied. I have attempted to describe the car as accurately and as honestly as I can. I tried to capture everything, but may have missed minor details and/or minor imperfections. I require a $250 non-refundable deposit via paypal with 24 hours of auction's close. The balance is due within 7 days, paypal or cash. I accept cash in-person or debit/credit cards via paypal, but if you pay via paypal, I will require you to add the 4% paypal fee. If you can't pick-up the car immediately, once paid, I can hold the car for you for up to 14 days for free. Beyond that, if interested, I can likely store the car for you for several months at $75 a month, payable in full-month increments. (If it takes a little longer than 14 days to pickup because you are scheduling a tow / rollback, thats fine provided you communicate to me). Failure to meet the terms of the auction gives me the right to retain any monies paid and re-list / re-sell the car. I am a reasonable person, but have to state this for my protection. I will not ship. Car must be picked-up or can be shipped if buyer makes all shipping arrangements. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. I can make myself available to assist your shipper, if you'd like. Please keep in mind that winning this auction is a legally binding contract that means that you've bought this car and will pay for it in-full. It doesn't mean that you've won the right to come see it and then decide if you want it. It also doesn't mean that you've won the right to subsequently get permission from your wife, etc. If you want to come see the car before bidding, thats fine - please contact me to make those arrangements. If you don't have the money or have some other issue that won't enable you to buy the car or pay for it within the time required if you are the winning bidder, then please don't bid on it. I am a reasonable person, but have to state this for my protection. Listing a car on ebay costs me money. People who win the auction and don't follow through costs me money, and wastes time. I don't want to sounds like a nag, but I've been burned before so I wanted to be clear. Please keep in mind that this is a 42 year old car. It runs and has been driven locally, but I wouldn't recommend that you simply get in and drive it cross-country as-is. Evn though I stated this, there will probably still be someone who emails me and asks if they can drive it home cross-country. Car is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early, but I will very likely let the auction run until completion. Bid with confidence! I have a 100% positive feedback rating with over 160 successful ebay transactions over the past 10+ years.
