1999 Chevy Suburban Diesel 4x4 with 135K This is the heavy weight 2500 series with the tow package powered by the 6.5 Turbo Diesel motor. This is the last year that you could get this great vehicle with the diesel motor. This vehicle was owned by the fire department and had a mandatory maintenance schedule and has just been released as part of their rollover program. When I received it from the fire department their markings were still on it and was covered over with black paint (done to prevent use by terrorist ) I removed decals and black paint . There is scratches and small dents as I have tried to show in pictures. I matched the paint the best that I could. There is no rot or rust on this suburban as I have shown the under carriage of suburban in photos. As this is the heavy duty 2500 series it has a tranny cooler and oil cooler also has plug in for block heater. there are two new batteries . This suburban has just the basic options dual a/c, am/fm radio, roll up windows power door locks,rubber floor mats. Has two non matching bucket seats up front and the standard split folding vinyl seat in back. It does have brackets for third row seating under rear rubber floor mat. The suburbans diesel motor runs great with smooth power all throughout it"s RPM range. Goes down road straight with no wander or pull. Brakes stop vehicle straight with no fade or wobble. Tranny shifts right on cue with no slippage or bangs. Goes in and out of the 4x4 mode smoothly with little effort. Shocks keep vehicle square and level. Tires are about 60% All in all I would say this is a very tight vehicle. A trip to the local wrecking yard and a few things from a fancy Tahoe and you will have a great vehicle for a long time to come.
