NICE 1998 VOLKSWAGEN NEW BEETLE - GREAT ON GAS NO RESERVE AUCTION !!! Up for auction here is a very nice 1998 Volkswagen New Beetle Coupe with 99,467 miles on it. It has a nice COOL WHITE exterior and a very clean sport black interior. This is quite a clean and unique car and turns head wherever it goes. This car sports an automatic transmission mated to a fuel-efficient 4 cylinder. The wheels are aluminum alloy and there is also a stock VW head unit with an in-trunk 6 disc CD played installed in this car. This Beetle runs fine and the body is in good shape showing normal wear. There are a few nicks and scratches which can be fixed fairly easily. The check engine light is on as well as the airbag light (airbag light is a common thing in Beetles as there is a wire which frays under the seat with time and wear.) The driver's side door lock also needs to be fixed as the key will not open it from the outside. These are all minor issues. Again, this is a very fuel efficient vehicle with good mileage and would make a great commuter car or first car for a new driver. Please read all additional information below.
