Vehicle Detail
Up for consignment is a super nice 1969 Plymouth Fury VIP with original 17500 miles on it. This is actually as clean as this car is very believable it doesn't show the typical wear that 100000 + miles car will show. The carpets, seats, armrests, pedals, steering wheel & horn pad are really in quite nice condition considering the age of the car. The car spent its early years in Brainerd Minnesota and was owned by an elderly lady and used it for driving to church when she passed it was left to her son who didn't want it and sold it on which brought it to the Silver State. The fiberglass fender skirts were forgotten and left at the sons house but he kindly sent them out to complete this fantastic classic car. The car has never been painted and has mostly original paint, the chrome is really spectacular and its hard to find flaw with it. The interior is completely original and is in great condition with the exception of a couple of split seems on the center of the front seat, see pics. It even has a new car smell to it. The dahsboard is not cracked, all the silvering in the dahsboard is intact and looks close to factors as does the steering wheel and door panels. All the glass is original including the windshield which still has the factory mopar marks on it. The car is also equipped with disc brakes and a beautiful running 383 V8 motor. The car stops straight, shifts as its supposed to, the radio , heater, wipers all work, the odometer works but the speedometer has just started to get a bounce to it. The tires have about 1000 miles on them, three of the hub caps are beautiful and one has a slight indent on it, it has new exhaust and shocks. In our opinion there is a couple of things that will need attention at some point, the headliner and top which are both original will need replacing at some point, see pics. Overall the undercarriage is solid including the floor boards. The car did have some rust at various points along the rocker panel which got an average repair job but from what we can see the fenders and quarter panels are structurally sound. The car is available for inspection just email to arrange a viewing or for a zip code for a shipping quote.
