1965 Mustang in need of a restoration. I just picked up this Mustang a couple of months ago from a friend heading over to the middle east. His Aunt was the original owner and he had it for the last 15 years. As can be seen in the pictures it needs some body and interior work. The 289 runs well, it fires right up, and the transmission is good to go too. My buddy said he rebuilt the engine and installed a new transmission five years ago, and then the car sat for the last four. I have no way to prove any of this, but I can show that it runs. Two things need to be done to get the car on the road. The brakes are shot, new brakes, including brake lines, need to be bought and installed. And the steering gear box is shot. Included with the car is a brand new, $500.00 flaming river, steering gear box. Not even opened. Also included with the car are some new interior parts. All in red. New front door panels, new front and rear seat covers, and a new dash pad. Also a new white headliner, which is correct in a 1965 with red interior. I made a point in the pictures to show all of the bad spots on the body. The car has a clear title in my name, and is currently registered in California. Feel free to email me with any questions.
