1953 Chevy 2 Door Hard Top Belair Sport Coupe for custom, Rat Rod, or restore to original. This car belonged to a friend for 30 years, sitting out on his farm, It is a next to the barn find. I couldn't bear to see it waste away and he finally realized that it would be a shame let it rot to the ground. Yes, it has rust, lower quarters, door bottoms, rockers, panel under trunk lid, trunk floor looks pretty good with some light pinholing in the spare tire well. The floor boards are also in good shape with no replacement needed, just needs minor work (few pin holes). The car was originally a 6cyl with auto transmission, there is a 6 cyl core mounted in the engine bay, no transmission. Outside of that the car is pretty complete. For all you custom fans out there, just in case you weren't aware that on these sport coupe models, the windshield is 2" shorter than all other 2 door models, giving the appearance of a factory chop top. Very cool :) Also, Yes, the tail lights are 1954's. Car comes with a bill of sale and is sold in "as is" condition.
