I have for sale a Super Sport El Camino. Originally a LS3 402 it now has a 1972 454. Car has 400 turbo automatic with a 270 geared rear end. Trim Tag reads as follows: tr 704 A51 pnt 26 26. This translates to black bucket seats with original paint color of mulsanne blue. The car has POWER WINDOWS, CRUISE CONTROL, TILT, POWER BRAKES, POWER STEERING, and AIR CONDITIONING. The car has received a body on restoration. This included a new interior , carpet, door panels, seat cushions and covers. The car has had the front end totally rebuilt including springs,ball joints, bearings, and tie rods. DRIVES SPOT ON. Motor has been freshed and has approx. 12k on it. Starts every time and drives smoothly with a quite exhaust. Car really is a joy to drive. Paint on the car is 10 years old and shines very nice but has scratches and clips as you would expect from a car that has been used. I bought the car from an old grand ma who owned the car for 18 years and she used it as her fishing wagon. She had a topper on it, which explains the shape of the bed which is very good. Car has a stereo system with 4 speakers. TIRES ARE BRAND NEW. To recap: I have a really nice driver quality 1972 real ss that has had a body on restoration with all systems addressed except the paint which looks good and shines great but has wear. The car does has new front shocks and new rear air shocks. The heater core was just replaced 2 months ago, so no worries there. The air blew cold this summer but would lose some of its charge at the end of the season, and 20 days in a row of above 100 degrees, my mechanic said a POA valve before next summer would fix. The paint will show your a reflection that you can pop a zit in, it just has some scratches and chips but very nice shiny, deep gloss paint. The mileage reflects the mileage on the title, women who owned the car 18 years says its actual, but I cannot prove it. The door seams are rust free. Yes, I will remove the OU mats if you desire.
