I purchased this Beetle in the summer of 1997 for my daughter as a graduation gift. I replaced 1 axle boot kit and both floor pans the passengers side had some corrosion issues around the battery, very common. So we decided to replace both pans. with the correct stamped floor boards. The rest of the sheet metal is original. The heater channels are solid and so are the outer rocker panels.The motor was tuned and oiled All four wheels and tires have been balanced. Headliner is original and the car has tinted glass. It runs and drives as designed. My daughter has lost interest since she works 45 miles from home and has purchased a newer vehicle. After much deliberation we have decided to sell the Beetle. The chrome is in very nice shape and so is the paint. You can rest assured that this is a truly rust free California Beetle that is in very similar condition to the way it was originally built.
