Vehicle Detail

Due to a non-registered ebay buyer, i now have up for sale again is my friends 1973 volkswagon super beetle bug...It has been setting in a garage for 12 years with no time to do anything to it...It appears to have all the parts to it, even tough the pics don't show all of them...I have all the glass and bumpers and the bottom back seat, as well as a couple of extra boxes with many assorted parts to go it it...I am assuming that this bug does not run but we are unsure of that...It may or may not..Needs a battery....This is truely a restoration project..Would make for a nice baja bug or someone who just wants to fix it up...The exterior of the bug is mostly sanded..There r some areas that need attention with some bondo with most of it in the rear quarter panel area...The underneath of the bug is in good shape with exception of the battery area which is common on these..There is hole on the other side rear as well..The front underneath looks great...It is a touch automatic shift with about a 123000 miles on it...Radio is there...Shipping of the bug is your responsibility...It will need to be trailered...The vehicle is for sale locally and i reserve the right to end auction early if need be...Again...there is a clear title in hand and this super beetle bug belongs to my buddy , where as i am only listing and selling it for him...Please be smart with your questions!!!!! Notice to all fellow ebayers, do not trust kennedykennedychris38, he is bad news for all of us........Thanks alot............On Jan-22-11 at 16:48:50 PST, seller added the following information: With all the questions concerning will the engine turn over or is it tied up....Today we put a jumper box to the battery cables to see what would happen...It turn over very smoothly, i think with fresh gas, new plugs, points, condenser and dist cap, i bet it would start...My buddy said that when he bought it many years ago, he drone it to its resting place in his garage....the taillights worked as well....Thanks for all the quesions and hope this helps in your decision....
