I am selling a 1985 Peugeot 505 Turbo gas(N9T 2.2 engine) sedan 5 speed (all 505 Turbo gas were 5 speeds and sedans in 1985) with just under 82,000 original miles. I purchased it and a 1989 505 Turbo parts car from a local fellow Peugeot enthusiast and friend who did not want to fix the main problem with the car-bad clutch master and slave cylinder! I bought the turbo from him and replaced the clutch master and slave cylinders, charged up the battery, and got the car running again. This 505 Turbo has 15" alloy rims with 205/60R15 Yokohama radials (almost new) . I have no history on the car other than it was a California car until last year. Has a new radiator and water pump, new clutch master and slave cylinders,AM/FM CD stereo unit, central locking, power windows. Sunroof and A/C are not working. This 505 Turbo is really tight and handles beautifully, no rust except at left and right lower windshield corners, body is straight, paint is faded.Interior is very nice dark blue leather, small crack on driver's seat bottom, headliner is very nice, not torn. Drivetrain is tight, engine runs well , has slight ignition miss (car sitting for 7 months). Car was driven to Austin from California in the Spring of 2009. I used to own Revolution Motors in Austin, Texas, and was a Peugeot specialist for 29 years: sold the company last year. I still drive Peugeots, and my favorite is the 505 model: in fact, the reason I bought this 505 Turbo was because I needed the 15" rims and tires that used to be on the car for my 1983 505 S five speed! On Jan-18-11 at 20:01:38 PST, seller added the following information: Correction : I meant to say that in 1985 model year, all 505 Turbos were 5 speeds and sedans: in 1986 -1991 Peugeot had the 505 Turbo automatic (sedan and wagon) and 505 Turbo 5 speed (sedan only): sorry about the confusion !On Jan-25-11 at 20:11:12 PST, seller added the following information: Interior condition: the leather behind the rear head rests is sun-cracked: this is not visible in the photographs. A bidder called me and asked a couple of days ago, so I thought you should all know,although he did not think it too important. The rear seat squabs can be easily removed and and the seat tops can then be easily repaired. I do apologize for the omission.
