1959 Cadillac Fleetwood 4dr Hardtop (a very rare find & rust free AZ car) Been in Tucson since day 1, sold originally at Paulin Cadillac on Broadway. We sold this car a few months ago here on ebay to a great guy in FL. He paid close to 10k for the car. Bought it, loves it, but in the last month, plans for him have changed and he asked ME to help it sell it back on ebay. The car is currently in Niceville FL. The car runs and drives well for its age. Its probably a safe bet to restore it more mechanically to make it a daily driver. IE: tune up, maybe a carb rebuild, clean out the tank more. We drove the car here in town and onto a car hauler. It did sit for about the last 8 years before we sold it. It was a 1 owner car when we sold it, still has the original Cadillac keys. A unmolested survivor ! Mileage to be about 76k on the odometer, cant remember if it turned over or not, but dont think it did. Car starts and runs with no smoke or weird noises. Brakes and suspension feel good too. Original paint says : no previous hidden damage ! Factory AC PS, PB, PW, and more Stuff youd expect from Cadillac. I dont want to sell, but if reserves met it will find a new home for someone else to enjoy. LOW RESERVE Interior: nice driver but showing its age in some areas. Has Eldo wheel covers which are nice. Still fun to drive around in and to local Cruze Nites. Would be an easy restoration. Drive around as is or restore it to its original glory, or somewhere in between. Car is super solid, doors etc all close well and tight for their age One outter handle is broken and one inside it missing. ORIGINAL Paint and Interior showing some age. All the glass is good and most of the PW work or run slow. Radio even works as does the power antenna and so do the PS up front. Obviously this is not a restored car, but Original example. They are only original ONCE. Anyone can throw shiney paint and a bunch of off the shelf aftermarket parts on a car and say its "restored" But the value for your $ doesnt make worth buying. Early Caddy cars like this restored back to the way it came off the showroom, have higher Values hands down. A VERY RARE AND HARD TO FIND Fleetwood An ERA alot of us remember like it was just yesterday. We really try to have realistic reserves on all of our auctions and want to sell cars, not sit on them for another year. LOTS OF PICS, it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient. You dont buy cars like this to be the fastest on your block You buy cars like this because they remind you of your youth and how much fun you had growing up and cruising was your main priority. This is a great car to restore 100% and would do so nicely. It is an example of a era long gone. Remember: they arent making anymore :) My take is this has been in Az its whole life. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain. The more you go over this car, the cooler it gets ! If he didnt have so many projects already, this would be a keeper. There is also a clunk in the rear suspension, mostly heard when you first back up. We think its ones of the control arm bushings in the back. Nothing major. There you have it, probably The BEST represented and the nicest patina based Caddy on Ebay. Shows you all the good as well as any bad. If you treat yourself to buying one of our cars, youll never buy a rust bucket again from anyone !! Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself.
