hello! i have very restorable 55 country sedan wagon 272 automatic.,9 passenger car originally from california, built at the san jose plant. it migrated to ohio a number of years ago and was painted ands left to set a number of years. while it was never finished or driven, the lower paint has now deteriated from poor storage. depending on how far you want to take it, the cars lower half could just be painted, and some touch up on the lighter color. the roof just needs buffed, and the rest of the paint still has a nice shine. the right front floor board has some rust out as seen, not worth of replacement to me. also a small area of the spare tire well, again not big enough to warrant any replacement. the crossmember, body supports and inner structure is still very solid as are the wheel wells and inner rockers. the right rocker has easily repairable rust out low, not even seen in pics.all the rockers have orginal tops and bottoms so if there patched it would have been in the center. the inner lower right quarter has very minor rust out. the picture shows the inner left lower rear quarter with original drain hole. the fenders have very minor pops at the bottoms. the rest of the front clip in and out is excellent no patches under or behind headlights. the tailgate is very solid bottom, very small pop in one corner. the interior needs done but is very complete including the 3rd seat. very nice dash and steering wheel. the wind up clock works! dash lights and outside lights working except turn signals. i had the gas tank cleaned and sealed. new wheel cylinders and hoses. i have only taken the car on a 5 mile run, it ran well and shifts good but does have a trans leak. the tires look good but arent. pretty nice tinted glass except one small quarter window. door locks working. trim overall nice. beautiful grille and parking lights. the car is still some what of a project obviously, but can be a driver without tons of cash. the car is still very appealing even within 5 feet. the colors are actually a turqouise roof and bottom and a very light blue in the center quite cute. those color numbers are here for a match. as mentioned, it does run, move and stop. ask any questions you need and if i missed anything it was unintentional. best to come look, more than welcome. delivery possible after full payment recieved. thanks!
