1970 Mercury Cougar factory 351C car w/ FMX auto transmission Az car so you can expect little to no rust on the floors, trunk and body. Other options like PS / PB and AC (some stuff under the hood missing for the AC) Reserve Low UNDER $3k !! The last owner back in the 80s tried to Hot Rod the car some with the old school Snorkel Hood scoop, B&M shifter, shackles etc. Interior was factory BLACK which is nice !! although not pretty, old and worn out but at least all the stuff is available to restore it back to stock or more custom if you wanted. Personally I think this car needs to be dropped about 2" from stock height and 17x8s all around.... but thats me :) Tires old too and getting dry on the old school CRAGER RIMS Car runs and drives and brakes ok, but carb needs work and it could use a tune up. Also has an exaust leak on one of the headers. Another thing worth mentioning is some of the headlight doors and assembly are missing. Hasnt stopped my from driving it up to the corner market or to the gas station and around town some. Car feels strong for been sitting so long, motor sounds okay and the auto trans feels good. Id probably also flush the fuel tank out soon, the car hasnt been driven much in the last 10 yrs. SHOWS 128K on the odometer Would be a realitively easy restoration or could make a nice ELIMINATOR Clone. Drive around as is or restore it to its original glory, or somewhere in between. Car is super solid. What you will see in the pics below is: Chrome and Trim is in very nice shape for its age. Ive been all over and Under the car, and have pics to below to prove our claims. I have some 17x9 Torque Thrust style aftermarket rims that with Billet spacers would look choice on this car. If the winner wants them they are available for an extra $400 !! On Jan-15-11 at 11:28:40 PST, seller added the following information: I want to clarify something on the rims, they can be bought new in the box for $400, but the billet spacers arent included. You can find them here on ebay for about $75 for a pair. Originally this car was Green. You can also buy a Marti Report on it to find out more info about the cars history etc. This car has non power brakes, but they work well. Theres been some money put into the motor, like the nice aluminum single plain intake, Carter AFB and Mallory ignition. I dont have any of the AC stuff missing under the hood.
