If you are looking for the Best of the Best, Then Look No Further!!!!! Just Take a Look At My Custom XK8!!! The Color Combination of Titanium and Oatmeal is hard to beat. The car has just recently been painted and it is Beautiful. Look at the shine and reflection in the paint. You can see my neighbors house in the paint which is roughly 50 feet behind me in the picture. The interior woodwork is flawless, and the Oatmeal Leather is in Amazing Condition. Now, on to the Real Fun Stuff, the Modifications. The most noticeable and stunning Mod were the Lamborghini door hinges that I had professionally installed at a cost of almost $4K. They bring a truly exotic look to this traditionally classic luxury vehicle. Using a top of the line kit made specifically for this vehicle will set you apart not only from any other XK8, but any other vehicle that you might see with Lamborghini doors. The kit uses a 250lb gas shock in each door that make raising and lowering the door(s) effortlessly. You can raise the door literally with one finger. Also, if at anytime you do not want to raise the door(s) you can also open the door the traditional way (not quite as wide as normal, but wide enough to get out) as well to get out. There was no welding that was involved with this kit, it was 100% bolt on, so while I could not imagine anyone wanting to take the kit off, it could simply be removed and the factory hinges could be put back on. The next Mod that I think are equally as stunning as the doors are the Vossen wheels and Nitto tires that I had installed by the well known Custom shop, KC Trends, at a cost of over $3K. As you can see I continued the exotic/sporty look of the car with the Polished Aluminum Lip Staggered Wheels, which was achieved with a massive 20"x10.5" in the rear and a 20"x9" in the front. When you look at the photobucket link that I attached, you will see a rear view image that shows just how nice the stance is with the wider and meatier rear wheels and tires. Another Mod that I believe enhances the vehicle are the yellow custom painted brake calibers. This gives another exotic touch to a vehicle that is just screaming, I am different than any other. The final Mod that I had done was to replace the door and rear speakers with top of the line Kicker midrange co-axial speakers. While the Harmon Kardin system was nice with regard to their tweeters,(which are still installed) their midrange speakers were not to be desired so I had them replaced and the stereo system now sounds like the car looks, GREAT! The tape deck and 6 disc changer in the trunk are completely functional, and work as they should. Also, all of the controls on the steering wheel also work as they should. This car handles and drives Exceptional. I have had absolutely no issues since I have owned it. It has a very peppy 4.0, 290hp engine that is also fuel efficient. I average around 24mpg on the highway which is amazing for this type of vehicle. I have service records from the original owner that go back to the original date of purchase and which include the replacing of the infamous timing chain tensioners, so that will be no concern to you. While not photographed, I do have all of the original books and manuals, and two set of keys with key fobs that come with the car. I also have the factory wheels and a brand new set of Michelin tires that have around 3K miles on them that can be purchased by the winning bidder for an additional cost. It is loaded with all of the bell and whistles that you would expect so I did not mention all of them, just the Mods that truly set her apart from the rest. As you can see, she has been very well maintained and is ready for the enjoyment of her next owner. Someone will be rewarded with a very unique and Beautiful automobile so please bid with confidence.
