Vehicle Detail
For sale again is my 1992 dodge daytona ES. i got this car from my friend who traded me in return for 2 trans am i had btw. One owner car, this was my friends uncles car, only owner, he gave it to my friend, and then we traded and thats how i acquired it. His uncle lost the title when he moved so i do not have a title. I have all of the paper work, maintenance, and the last registration sheet (08), i even have the window sticker!. The car has a sony headunit, no speakers or amps, but has a 12 built in sub in the trunk. This car needs minor work to get it back on the road, or you can use it for parts. The interior is in MINT condition. The car starts right up, you need to jump it, dead battery. The only noticeable rust on the car is a little spot on the hood, which i gridded out and put paint on. Usually these cars have foggy headlights, but i got those cleaned up as well. I have driven the car up and down my road and the gears shift smooth, the engine runs strong and it is pretty quick for a i-4 NON turbo. I have no reserve, i just need this gone asap, if it does not sell, it will sit outside this winter, and probably go back on in the spring. NEW: i bought and installed these items when i got the car:Rack and PinionPlugsOil=+ FilterFront PadsFront RotorsNew rear wheel cylinders (have not installed them)ThermostatWheels are pretty new. I am not 100% positive, but i believe the major and only real biggie with this car thats keeping it of the road are, i believe the brake lines need replacing as the pressure is low and the brakes give out before you come to a complete stop, and you need a to get a title which should be no hassel since A, its an old car, and B, i think all you need is a bill of sale and the previous registration, which i have both of. I do not have the title(reminder)I have gotten a VW MK2 Jetta to play around with so i do not want this car anymore, and i need it gone asap because i dont want it to sit outside during the winter and i could use the money, Thanks and good luck bidding. If you have any questions, please call or text me at 1203-233-0772-Mike Question asked regarding title from an ebayer: IF he lost teh title ...can't he simply request another one ? ... Eresponse:hey man, to be 100% honest, this is what the kid told me when i got the car. he said that his uncle lives/lived in RI when he got the car back in 92, he told me that his uncle did not have a title because they did not give them out in RH during that time period.i have no clue if that is true i tried calling all the numbers on the paper work that had the kids uncles name on it to get a hold of him, but it was a wrong number every time. i even had the kids mom call him and same thing, wrong number. So yes, i believe that RI thing is true because when i say i have all the paper work but the title, i have it all-Thanks for looking if you have any other questions just ask-Mike
