1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Mailbu Up for your consideration is this nice 1966 Chevelle vin # 136176B124074. This is an original Marina Blue paint code car according to the tags but has been painted the greenish color you see in the photos. This is a running driving car that would be a great candidate for a restore or resto mod project as time and money allowed. The car has bucket seat interior with a console and automatic in the floor. The engine is a 283 small block and the transmission was changed from a power glide to a 350 turbo. The car sounds great and has dual exhaust. The car is equipped with power steering, power brakes and also comes with tinted window. The car also has its original protecto plate from when it was sold new. The body seams are all very even and the floor boards are solid. The trunk pan has a few small holes under the spare tire but is mostly solid. The motor and transmission runs smooth but the poly tires leave much to be desired when driving. The paint is not great but the body is very nice with the only rust through spots being at the very bottom of the rear quarters behind the wheels. There are also a few small pimples over the right rear wheel opening but should not be a problem. The patch panels for the lower rear quarter panels have been priced at $54 each. Weld those in and sand down the pimples and the body would be great. The rocker panel and wheel opening moldings come with the car but are not installed. Does not appear to have had any accident damage just looking at how everything fits. This would be a great place to start for a very popular car in a very popular color.
