Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1965 IMPALA. I've had it about five years. it has a 69-78 crate 350 SBC with about 2,000 miles on it. The motor starts right up and runs great. It has an Edelbrock intake and Edelbrock 1406 600 cfm Carb, Hooker shorty headers and new 2 1/2 " dual exhaust into dual flowmaster Super 40 mufflers. It also has new motor mounts. It has new wiring harness from the fuse block back to the center console. The front and rear suspension has been rebuilt with a PST Super front end kit, to include a complete teardown, and rebuild with polyurethane bushings, new 2" Eaton lowering springs (front / back), and KYB Shocks. There are new Joints on the driveshaft, which was also balanced. The white interior is completely new from classic industries. As you can see from the pictures I left out the rear ashtrays for a cleaner look. The dome lights work. I put in a new headlight switch, new windshield wiper switch, new ignition bezel, and new dash vent balls. The stock gauges (oil, fuel, water voltage) do not work, BUT I have a three gauge pod under the dash that work, and a pro comp fuel gauge that sits perfectly in the clock pod in the center console. The motor runs at 180 drgrees all day long. The front has disc brakes from CPP, including 2" drop spindles, master cylinder and proportioning valve. The wheels are 17" torque thrust 2's 17x8 (rear) 255/50 17x7 (front) 245/45.The differential gears are 3:08's, and I just recently changed the fluid in there. Don't expect this to be fast with those gears, but it will cruise down the freeway at 8- MPH all day. With all the suspension work there is very little body roll. This a true A/C car, but neither heat or A/C is currently hooked up. I also have some spare window glass thats not installed and a new dash bezel thats about a 9 out of 10. I also have a pair of brand new OEM mirrors that arent installed. The paint is about a 7. It's definitely a ten footer, but gets lots of attention everytime i drive it. I am selling it to start a new project. This is truly a solid car, and you won't be unhappy with it. The vehicle will eventually need new body mount bushing ($100.00) and new weather stripping. Bascally the hard stuff has been done..all you have to do is come in and paint it..the reserve is set low, as I just want to break even, but please don't ask what it is...It's lower than what it's worth. You won't find rust anywhere on the car. Feel free to call me on my cell with any questions at 702-413-5298...I require a 500.00 deposit 24 hours after auction ends. ...thanks for lookingOn Jan-02-11 at 22:03:42 PST, seller added the following information: You are bidding on a 1965 IMPALA.
