This was the series of the Sedan Four-door Hardtop. This model came standard with a 401 engine, however this car was factory upgraded to the 425 “Wildcat 465” engine. This car’s VIN is 462395C110856 See all detailed Pictures at Bottom of Page Vehicle Origin This 1965 Buick Wildcat was originally purchased by the current owner’s great grandfather in California off of the showroom floor in 1965 for $4,050. After that the car spent the next 30 years garage kept in California. The second owner was the original owner’s son who then brought the car to Florida where it sits now. It was still garage kept until three years ago he had past and the car was given to his grandson, who is the current owner of the car. The car spent the past three years sitting under a oak tree in a driveway, unfortunately causing the deterioration seen on the car today. Doug (386) 679-6226 or badfishmarine@gmail.com Vehicle Inspection This car is mostly original, besides the typical tune up and filter parts, the only other parts I know to have been replaced have been as follows: Starter Battery Brake Master Cylinder Fuel Pump Re-Painted in 2000 Seats Re-Upholstered Tires have good tread on them The two rear tires have less than 500 miles on them Imperfections: Exterior: Minor Collision Damage on Front Passenger-side FenderFront Bumper is slightly creased or bent and chrome is peelingRear corner panels both have rust on the bottom of themHood has one rust spot Rear Window has two rusted through spots on the bottomTrunk pan and drain rim have a fair amount of rustMissing two wheel covers Interior: AM/FM Radio is not working, possibly repairablePlastic molding on rear door post is crackedCarpet in the front has wear spotsPlastic molding on the steering wheel is crackedI was told Air Conditioning is still operational but needs chargedHeadliner is in really good shape, but has a couple of stains around the edge Overall Review This car has lived a well maintained life until the past two years where it then sat outside under a tree, thus the body rust as seen. However the frame and floor pan are in great shape. The compression on the engine held together below 10% separation between cylinders . There is no sign of a rebuild in the near future of this engine. No major fluid leaks were present on the vehicle. The overall condition of the car is fair plus, I would call it a 6.5 out of 10. This car defiantly has the potential to be a great entry level restoration project, easily achievable to become something beautiful once again. May the best bidder love this car for a very long time.
