Here is a mildly customized 1982 Dodge 400 Convertible. In the almost 4 years I've owned this car I have done many things to this car. I switched out the carbed Mitsubishi 2.6 engine for a 1986 Reliant 2.5 that was completely rebuilt 3,000 miles ago with FUEL INJECTION. No more complicated carb. Fender skirts are custom, I've added 1960 Dodge scripts to the front fenders a 1970's script to the trunk lid and a 60's chrome side view mirror and a 1963 NOS Dodge Custom 880 Hood ornament. Mechanically it's had just about everything done to it. The car has a more retro look now since I got rid of all the cheap 1980's plastic emblems. AC was all rebuilt 2 years ago with new compressor, hoses etc. BLOWS COLD! New heater core, both windows work great, Power top works great, door locks work, all gauges and lights work, Cruise Control Works. Newer SONY AM/FM with CD player stereo. New dash speakers, new dash pad. New upholstory 2 years ago. Top was done 2 years ago as well. Vintage emblems on dash, center emblem in steering wheel was a Dodge emblem from a vintage keychain. Dash pad is LIKE NEW, seats & carpet were reupholstered in 2008 and a new conv top. Tires are less than a year old. NEVER BEEN HIT, all body panels are original. Automatic trunk release installed. Car looks beautiful and drives great, on the highway close to 30 MPG. Car runs great. I have a new map sensor which has not been put in yet. Car is cold blooded but runs great when warmed up. Newer tires about 6 months ago. Only rust on car when I bought it was a small hole in rear floor pan from previous owner who left top down and this was only in a very small area which I had patched. No rust in car body or frame. Car runs like a champ on the freeway, smooth and tight. Cruise at 75 mph with no trouble at all. This is not a show car but a stunning beautiful driver which will get lots of attention wherever you go. FLY IN DRIVE HOME!
