This is a 1949 Chevy 3/4 ton dually with a flat bed. The truck has a rebuilt 6 cyl 216 engine with a 4 speed manual transmission. About 4 years ago just about everything on the truck was rebuilt it has new brakes, rebuilt wheel cylinders, new master and booster was added, rebuilt engine, new clutch, water pump,rebuilt carburetor, rebuilt radiator, rearched front springs new front and rear glass, new seat, new headliner all new tires 6 (7.50x20), new wiring and much much more. The truck has about 2,500 miles on it since all of this was done. The truck is totally stock with the exception of electric wipers, 12 volt electric system, turn signals and the brake booster. The truck was repainted inside and out the interior is a brown and the exterior is green with a cream color from the body line up the bed and running boards are black. The paint is in good shape. The flatbed bed has been used but is in good condition and has 2 nice underside tool boxes. The bed is about 10' 6" long and about 7' wide. This is a very clean rust free California truck. This is a truck that you can get in and drive anywhere with out any problems it even has a working heater with defrost. I have driven it so there are a few little scratches and wear marks but it is a clean nice running truck. The engine does leak some oil from the rear main seal since it has a rope type seal. The only item missing from the truck is the fuse box cover under the hood and the 2 hood side emblems stating the model. . The salvaged title is kind of a joke because it is a salvaged title because the truck was sold to a junk yard. I bought the truck from a person in Riverside CA and it had no title but when I went to register it the truck came back to a junkyard. So I contacted them and described the truck and the guy remembered the truck and said that it had been a produce truck and the engine went bad and they bought it and mounted there sign to the frame and used it as there sign so needless to say he signed a release over to me. The truck is curently registered and has a title. The truck was complete when I got it. This was not a truck built from a pile of parts.
