***I am offering a 1978 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. It is PARTIALLY restored inside and out, but is a great candidate for a full restoration. I have had it for 5 years, and have done some restoration - and some custom work - as you will see in the pictures. My biggest addition to this car has been adding a new 350 cubic inch Crate engine - rated at 350 horsepower - four years back. ***There are less than 3,000 miles on this new engine. ***The car is nearly identicle in appearance - and inspired by - the Monte Carlo seen in the film Training Day! ***This car is for PICKUP only! I will not ship it. I am located in southeastern New Hampshire and will glady show the car upon request. ***Car runs great and looks good overall, but needs some work on a few issues. Please read the bullets below for specific. MECHANICAL: - Custom 350cc V8 Crate Engine, rated at 350 HP (I have the paperwork on this.) - (True) Dual Exhaust. - Automatic original transmission. - Starts and runs well. - Has some exhaust noise and an occasional oil leak which I have not been able to narrow down. - Heat and washers need to be fixed. No AC. EXTERIOR / BODY: - Full black paint job, 5 years old. - Some minor paint chipping; one fairly large scratch on driver's quarter panel. - No dents or body damage. - Some rust beginning around bottom of doors, otherwise vehicle body is generally clean. - Hood and trunk ornaments present. All exterior light fixtures present. - "Fairly" new chrome Cragar Classic SS wheels. - XT Renegade (National) raised white letter tires. INTERIOR: - Many new parts installed, including: dashcover, headliner, carpet, all door panels, sunvisors, etc. See pictures. Basically, almost the entire front half of the interior is restored...see pictures. - All new custom green-black velour seat covers have been installed front and back. - New radio with CD / MP3 player installed. 6x9 pioneer speakers in trunk. - Needs new seatbelts and rear interior panels. I do have the old ones - BUT - they don't match the new black/green interior.
