Vehicle Detail
This is a 1926 Ford TT truck with a Simplex truck body. The cab and body are all wood. This was restored about 5 years ago as a driveable restoration and has been kept inside since then. This features the standard driveline of a 4 cyl flathead engine the High/ low transmission with reverse. The engine is completely rebuilt , bored new babbit bearings, valves, etc. The transmission has new bands and rear main bearing. The driveshaft and rear end bearings and seals were replaced as needed. The rear end features the large external brakes (Rocky Mountain style) The radiator and gas tank are new along with all of the wiring and buzz coils. The starter and generator were both rebuilt. All of the wood was replaced using the existing patterns from the old cab and truck box. The glass is also new. The roof has a new period correct vinyl top. The sheetmetal has all been repainted but does have old pits on the undrside of the fenders from many years of use . The wood is varnished and really looks nice against the black sheetmetal. The tires and tubes were replaced when the vehicle was restored and the wooden wheel spokes are in fairly good condition. Everything on this has been gone through. This is a nice running and nice looking TT definatley an eye catcher. I have driven it around so there are a few light scratches and wear marks but it is a very clean truck and loads of fun to drive. The bed is 8 " long and almost 4" wide The old plows in the back do not go with the truck. I also have a Ford T tractor conversion for sale.
