Here we have a hot rod 57 Chevy Bel Air post.The car really turns heads! The motor is a 350 with flat top pistons, 4.25 lift cam 3.25 duration. The cam really rumbles, carb is a new Edelbrock 650. The heads are Dart Iron Eagles. The transsmission is a turbo 400. Gas tank is in the trunck which has been custom made with aluminum and looks good. Car has a 5 inch monster tach shift light needs hooked up but tach works good. The car has new racing seats with 5 point quick release harness by Impact. There is also a 4 point roll cage and thats why the back seats are not there. There is a cool piece made to cover the back with a large Chevy emblem sewed in. The carpet is also new. Head lights work on one beam and tail lights work. Turn signals do not work and winshield wipers need to be bought and installed. Firewall has been recesed in the middle. Rear is Ford nine inch posi 4.11s New drive shaft and aluminum fuel line. Back breakes are not hooked up but lines are run to rear. The car has no inner fenders and is a very straight car. Few of the flames wrinkled after painting and couple chips back by the trunk. Slight line around the back of the front fenders all the way across. I wet sanded most of it out and was going to clear it and I think that might help everything to match up, again the body is straight and not rusty, floor pans good. I have the Bel Air inserts and a few of the side chrome pieces but not all. I have the chrome headlight bezels. The transmission shifts out but slips when you really get on it. I would rebuild the transsmision and with the cam the motor has I would put a stall converter in it. The car is alot of fun and is a great project car that needs just a little to be amazing.
