Vehicle Detail

One adult owner, garaged, winterized. Lots of fun, but a recent 2,000 mile ride convinced me it's time to stick to the car. All maintenance records & receipts come with the machine. Set up for a ham radio too if you're interested. The ol' AM/FM/Cassette doesn't make noise, but does turn on. The only other gripe is scratches on the left pannier lid; we didn't latch it properly & it flew off 15 years ago. Low miles on the tires, variable compression springs in the front forks. Intercom/CB plugs for driver & passenger. Original matching mike/speaker helmets are still in NH; I'll be happy to negotiate a seperate sale for those, maybe $50 each + shipping? Runs great, strong & smooth. On the drive from Plymouth New Hampshire to Rockdale Texas last October I got 35mpg, running at 75mph most of the way. (Four long, tiring days!) I'd make about 150 miles before low fuel & sore bottom made me stop. Hella driving lights switch between low & high beam with the headlight. Q: how does this donation to the cats effect me as a buyer or the selling price thanks. A: Thanks for looking. No effect for you; I'll share the money with the blind cat rescue out of my proceeds. Q: I was wondering if the bike is titled in Texas? Was there any other damage to the saddlebag lid other than scratches? Have the front fork seals ever been replaced? Are you the original owner? A: My Pop owns the bike. it's titled in New Hampshire, but I drove it down here last October. He's the first & only owner. The front fork seals were replaced when he had the progressive springs installed. The lid didn't suffer except the scratches. Q: Did you buy the bike new? You indicate that the bike is in good mechanical condition -I'm thinking about riding to the west coast this spring, will I need to do any work on the bike before doing so? A: My Pop bought the bike new. He & Mom rode it casually during the New Hampshire summers. Winterized every autumn with stabil & a battery tender. From 2000 til October 2010 it didn't get ridden much, he did maintain it with intentions to ride avery other summer or so, but this year he fell & broke his leg & decided to get his money's worth out of the bike. Before my ride (qualified for a saddle sore: a little quicker & it'd be iron bottom too!) I had it gone over at Venco Wings in Belmont New Hampshire. Started with just a little coaxing, spat some acorns & ran like new, through 36 degree Tennessee morning & 93 degree Alabama & Louisiana afternoon. I'd ride with confidence to Alaska today! For sale locally; I reserve the right to terminate the acution early in the event of an offer exceeding the leading bid. How to get it to you? I'll deliver it anywhere in the US! I'll make the ride if you'll pay for my return ticket by air or rail. If you want it shipped, I'll deliver it to the shipper anywhere in Texas, but you'll need to make arrangements with the shipper please. Payment? PayPal preferred, but I'll take a postal money order or personal check (this will delay the sale by two weeks for the check to clear) or cash in hand; US currency, pieces-o'-eight, doubloons, krugerrands, diamonds, emeralds, rubies, silver ingots...
