You are bidding on a two owner 1976 Mercury Grand Marquis four door, pillared hardtop. This beautiful car was sold new on May 5, 1976 at Northern Ford Lincoln Mercury in Cutbank, Montana and has been garaged and well maintained by the original owners for 34 years until I purchased it on May 18, 2010. I have a copy of the original Montana Title that was dated May 18, 1976 - exactly 34 years before the day I bought it. This Grand Marquis is in above average condition with a full compliment of factory equipment - including a 460 cubic inch V-8 engine, dual exhaust, climate control air conditioning, power windows, power steering/brakes, AM/FM Stereo Radio with a working integrated 8 track tape player, power driver's seat, tinted glass, rear wheel well skirts, vinyl roof, remote mirrors, side moldings, lighted vanity mirror, power antenna, power door locks, rear defrost, reclining passenger seat, and more. The dashboard has been protected by a cover and is in beautiful shape. The mileage is believed to be original. This car is comfortable at highway speeds with no unusual noises. We did a major tuneup recently and replaced the fuel pump and heater core. The car comes with the original Owner's Manual, Stereo 8 Manual, Auto Temperature Operating Manual, Limited Warranty Facts Booklet, Firestone Tire Warranty Booklet, original Ford Owner Card and Warranty ID Card, and other misc. period paperwork. The Grand Marquis is in excellent, un-restored, original condition. However, it does have paint chips, door dings, and other cosmetic blemishes you would expect in a 34 year old vehicle that has been used as transportation. There is a small dent on the left side of the rear bumper, as shown in the pictures. The switches for the right rear window work intermittently, but the motor and window mechanics seem to work well. Overall, the car looks real good and draws a lot of compliments. Buyer is responsible for car pickup and shipping arrangements and expense. Payment will be by Bank Cashiers Check (US funds), Wire Transfer, or cash at pickup. All funds must clear our Bank before pickup. Please examine the pictures closely and ask questions before bidding.
