This beautiful 1957 Cadillac Coupe De Ville includes some major changes from the previous year. All Cadillacs now sported a new tubular-center X type chassis frame which resulted in a significantly lower stance. At the front, the new bumper had a low-set cross hatched grille with large rubber tipped bumper guards and this was the last year for single headlights. At the rear, the Coupe De Ville now had large shark style fins with dual tail-lights at the rear. Several styling cues came from the Park Avenue show car of 1954. This 2-door hardtop comes in a dark green exterior with green leather and cloth interior. It also has a 365ci, 300hp, V-8 engine, automatic transmission, power steering/brakes, 6-way power seat, power windows,factory AC, EZ Eye Glass, AM radio with floor tuner control, power antenna, and Autronic Eye. Ride in the ultimate 1950s luxury with the beautiful car. This 57 coupe currently does not run. It needs restoration for a show car, or the engine can be rebuilt to be driven everyday. I bought this Cadi about One year ago from its second owner to start the restoration, but due to the economic downfall I cannot afford to keep this beautiful 57 coupe.The previous owner told me that the car has been sitting since 1985 because of the head gasket.
