1972 Honda CL

This 1972 Honda CL175 has been sitting in basement for years. Has only 4,635 original miles. Needs battery but was running when put away. All metalwork , like muffler shields, are dent free. Both plastic side covers in good condition....rare on these Hondas. Metal items need re-chromed. Alot of replacement parts out of Taiwan are making these restorations more economical "ventures". Keys are with bike...seat latch opens with key also. This bike obviously was not "detailed" for sale. It needs cleaned up. It is great condition for restoration. There is a very small crease on right side gas tank...see photo. Last picture shows a cable tie holding brake light switch wire in...a problem on alot of these early 70's Hondas. Color is Varnish Blue Metallic. Bike has electric start. This bike is only being sold to purchase items for a customers Trail 90 that I am almost completed restoring. Title will be available within 90 days as customer has paid me for work with this bike and a Mini-Trail 50 which is not for sale. He will issue me title when he picks up his Trail 90. Buyer is responsible for any Ohio title transfer fees to put bike in their name. For sake of sale I will deliver title by April 20, 2011. Bill of sale will be issued with notice of pending title transfer. The 175 can stay here for up to 6 months...after that there is a $20/month storage fee. This is only a 5 day auction. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Winning bidder or "Buy it Now Buyer" MUST pay full amount via PayPal within 48 hours of auction end. Buyer can pick bike up here in Youngstown, OH...midway between Cleveland and Pittsburgh. As stated I will store bike free of charge for 6 months BUT payment must be made immediately after sale.
